A new Newham Iris, Catherine Seville, is launched on 2nd June 2018 and added to the Newnham Iris Collection. This exquisite Bearded Iris is named after Doctor Seville, a former colleague of Professor Jenny Morton. Together they set up the highly successful Newnham Iris Project.
The English Iris Company has been involved with Newnham since 2012, introducing three Irises in 2013 that form the nucleus of their Collection. A new Display Border was opened in the College Gardens to great acclaim in 2016.
