This was our first time at RHS Hampton Court. What a scorcher of a week it turned out to be, with 90 degree temperatures in the Floral Marquee all week. The plan was to display Bearded Irises in flower in July, some six weeks after Chelsea.
Much to our relief, we were successful and raised quite a few eyebrows in the process. Our efforts were rewarded with a Silver Medal!
We were pleased that our RHS Lindley Exhibit on the ‘Do’s and Don’ts of growing Tall Bearded Irises’ proved to be popular with members of the public. The irises we had for sale went down well too. We will be back.
