UK Deliveries
Current Arrangements
Delivery Dates/Frequency
We have listened to our customers and adapted our practices to be able to supply irises between March and end November, frost permitting. Deliveries are made once per month and you will be notified of the next delivery date after placing your order.
Our Irises
Our irises are grown in 9cm pots and come bare rooted with established root systems. This means that they can be planted on receipt for much of the garden year, and allows your plants to become established quickly. This compares with many of our competitors who traditionally only supply irises in the Autumn.
Delivery Charge
This will be calculated by entering the order details on the website.
Royal Mail
Plants are routinely sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Small Parcel rate; there is an option to opt for Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day delivery. Tracking information is provided by email after despatch of plants.
Conditions
This section should be read in conjunction with and forms part of, our Terms of Business.
We hope to make the delivery information as clear and understandable as possible. Our website will automatically total delivery charges for delivery within the UK; should the charges not be suitable to you we would suggest you do not proceed with your order.
We reserve the right to change any part, or all, of our delivery prices, at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel delivery availability to any area or address at any time. A change of delivery information on our web site shall constitute notification of change.
In the event that you have placed an order with us and we change all or any part of our delivery terms, including pricing, delivery area, we will contact you. We will allow you to either accept the change/s or cancel all or part of your order. We may ask for your instructions in writing, which includes email.
In the event of cancellation of all or part of your order we will of course reimburse funds due for the cancelled plant/s and/or good/s together with the delivery charge/s paid by you but shall not be liable to you in connection with any contract, in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss of profit, anticipated savings or data that you or your business may suffe
Deliveries Outside UK
The prices quoted on the website are for delivery to UK mainland only. Please contact us to discuss cost effective delivery charges outside UK.
EUROPE
Post BREXIT deliveries to Europe are now much more expensive, requiring a separate Phytosanitary Certificate in UK. They are likely to take longer due to inspection arrangements on receipt.
We are prepared to quote for delivery costs to Europe.
UNITED STATES
We have not yet found a viable way to send plants to the States from UK due to the need in UK for Phytosanitary Certificates and the Current FDA regulations for imported plants.
