Lime Soda
Welcome to Lime Soda a Pale Yellow Bearded Iris and part of our Exclusive Award Winning Collection of British irises.
Building Your Collection
This is a really pretty delicate ‘citron’ yellow that justifies a place in any garden. It is a key part part of our popular ‘Softs’ collection. It is early Flowering and well-suited to planting with other early flowering varieties, Ice Pinnacle and Blue Crevasse in particular, but goes well with the other ‘blues’, Skye Blue and Bryan’s Best Blue, both flowering a little later.
This is a really good iris and one I would never wish to be without in my garden.
Mixing with other Colours
Lime Soda is great on its own, but also mixes well with all Colour Groups. Use it with other ‘Softs’ (Pinks/Lavender Pink), and plant it with ‘Cools’(Blues/Whites) and even with ‘Hots’ (Deep Yellows/Oranges/Browns). All things considered, it is a really versatile plant.
Use this yellow Bearded Iris to experiment with different colour combinations. Blues and pale yellow work well together, and for those who like stronger colours, use it with reds, brown, magentas and oranges.
Registered by Bryan Dodsworth in 1997. Height 42” (107cm). Standards pale yellow. Falls white, with veining, edged yellow. Yellow Beard. Ruffled. Delicious lemon scent.
